2012 MAR 25 - (VerticalNews.com) -- During the course of 2011, each Faculty within F1000 built up a fund related to the number of evaluations published throughout the year. For every evaluation published, F1000 added $1 to the Travel Grant Fund. All Associate Faculty Members (AFMs) who submitted six or more evaluations in 2011, which were then published, were eligible to apply for a Travel Grant.

The first winners of the fund have now each been awarded $250 grants to put toward the costs involved in attending scientific conferences. A total of 74 Travel Grants have been awarded: visit the F1000 website to see the list of awardees...
