Final Weekend of El Shuttle Bus Service on Western Portion of Market-Frankford Line This Year



December 6th, 2008

SEPTA will operate scheduled weekend shuttle bus service between 69th St. Terminal and 40th Street Station on the Market-Frankford Elevated Line for the final time this year beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, November 21 through 5 a.m. Monday, November 24.

Following this final weekend of alternate service due to work on the Market Street Elevated (MSE) reconstruction project, SEPTA will operate regular weekend train service between 69th Street Terminal and the Frankford Transportation Center through the busy holiday season and into the spring of 2009. Passengers should expect some weekend outages and subsequent shuttle bus service during the spring.
