Zenith Announces Third Quarter Results

Zenith National Insurance Corp. (NYSE: ZNT) reported net income for the third quarter 2009 of $19.2 million, or $0.51 per share, compared to net income for the third quarter 2008 of $16.6 million, or $0.44 per share. Net income for the nine months ended September 30, 2009 was $23.6 million, or $0.62 per share, compared to net income for the nine months ended September 30, 2008 of $86.9 million, or $2.32 per share.
